About Me
I am passionate about my work with individuals, couples and groups and have worked in private practice and in the NHS specifically in sexual violence, for several years. Prior to my role as a psychotherapeutic counsellor I have over a decade of experience working in the creative industries and later I found my calling working in bereavement, where I have supported hundreds of clients facing significant loss. I now use that experience to counsel clients using Transactional Analysis techniques. I specialise in helping people identify and cope with the issues that are causing them distress, anxiety, and stress.
Bereavement isn't just about the death of someone . Grief is often at the heart of many of my clients’ stories as they explore their reactions to change or the loss of a myriad of things from relationships to identity, home and career.
Whatever you are curious about, through first-hand experience I know that having a space to share our thoughts and feelings can help navigate personal difficulties and understand ourselves better.
I am dedicated to providing an inclusive, safe, anti-racist, therapeutic practice. I take great pride in the progress and success of my clients, and look forward to helping you by working together creatively and relationally.
I aim to ensure you will feel safe and supported without judgement as I understand that everyone’s life experiences are unique.
I have a diploma in psychotherapeutic counselling and am completing an MSc in Transactional Analysis psychotherapy at the Metanoia Institute.
I am a registered member of the MBACP, UKCP, IARTA, EATA and the Metanoia Institute, and I am fully insured.
